Polka dots

I love when the kids get lost in their imaginary play. Reece and Gavin got out their Doctor kits and began playing doctor. They got Brown Bear and laid him on the coffee table for examination. Reece explained to him that we was not going to get sick cuz he was going to get a flu shot and a polka dot shot...... aka chicken pox!!

Mystery Reader Day

On Thursday I was the "Mystery Reader" for Reece's Kindergarten class. It started by me showing up in the office at the school. The secretary used the intercom to contact the class and let them know there was a mystery reader. In response the class SCREAMMMMED with excitement. I then was escorted to the class. I entered the room as the children covered their eyes. I quickly located Reece in the crowd and watched his face explode with excitement after he opened his eyes. What a wonderful day!

First Snowman of winter season!

We are so very excited to bring this to you today!! The first snowman of the season! It is the perfect packing snow and just enough to make a decent size snowman!! They really wanted to go sledding! Maybe next time! I went straight to the store and stocked up on salt and windshield wiper fluid and we are good to go! Sorry for the poor quality pic, it is from my phone! BRING IT ON, OLD-MAN WINTER!!:)

Sunday's around here

Sundays are filled with lots of football watching. I don't watch it, but the boys do.

Late fall indoor Soccer Games thru the Troy Recreation Dept! Reece is on the Red Rockets soccer team. It is filled with lots of laughs at the kids experiencing a coordinated soccer play for the first time! So far Reece is enjoying it very much!

Kindergarden Field Trip

Reece had a BLAST at his first Field Trip. I showed up late and left early cuz I had to take and pickup Gavin at preschool, but I was able to get there! We visited Upland Farms: a very nice and clean (is that possible?) and organized Farm! They are not a working farm but there as entertainment and educational benefit!

This one is for you "Varana's"

The kids got out this moon walker and turned it over. It took them about 5 minutes before they figured out that they could put it next to the play structure and jump off of that onto the moon walker. It reminded me of when I was little and "we" meaning older siblings and neighborhood kids would jump off our garage into our 4 foot pool!! The funny thing is, is that there was a utility wire that you had to chose to jump over or under!! Rest assure, I have an umbrella policy just in case one of our neighborhood kids decide to sue!!
