Summer is here. This means every chance we get we head 2 1/2 hours west of Detroit to Quincy, Michigan. Home to the Chain of Lakes, our little slice of Heaven.
Reece graduated from preschool today, Wednesday, May 21, 2008. If you would have asked me at the beginning of the school year, I would have said: "Graduation? Preschool? COME ON NOW!" Well, today, I am gushing over how stinking cute graduation day was and so very proud of him as a preschooler. When he was asked what do you want to be when you grow up? He PROUDLY said a "Race Car Driver"
As I enjoy our beautiful crabapple tree with coffee in hand, my two little jokers get dressed in their "bird hunting" outfits. They are a hoot!! (Pun-intended)
The last week of April and first week of May, the Betts family had a road trip to Pensacola Beach, Florida. We drove all night long to arrive to beautiful white sandy beaches with loads of sun. The kids did very well and slept most of the night. We tagged teamed the drive down. Once down there, we picked up Grandma at the airport to stay with us for several days. The way back up we took 2 days with a stop in Memphis to visit our very good friends from EMU, Mark & Marie Waugh and kids. Had a great time and looking forward to going back!! Gorgeous day on the beach
